Kronos Ceramiche is introducing three new and exciting collections and a previously unseen floor format at Cersaie 2017, the Bologna international trade fair for architectural ceramics and bathroom furnishings, from September 25 to 29.
The event, now in its 35th year, forms a major point of reference for architects, designers and businesses operating at the forefront of interior design.
Kronos will be attending the event with new products, all the result of continually seeking to merge technical innovation with design.

KRONOS EXHIBITION STAND
Kronos made the decision to present its new creations by opting for an elegant, communicative set design. Particular attention was given to the creation of a perspective view that gives full sight of the entire stand, from the reception at the front to the backdrop, via all areas in between.
The structure is divided by alternating volumes into 5 themed areas:
- Reception area with a welcome desk made from bespoke Kronos items.
- A Dining Room with glazed lighting, showcasing the new Les Bois series.
- The Living Room presents the new Incontri Materici series in the Carbone (charcoal) colour option. A central passageway lined with Deckway Nut divides the Living Room from the Dining room, separating and at the same time connecting the two spaces.
- The cutaway construction of the Kitchen includes space for application of the Carrière du Kronos series for cladding the fitted units.
- The Veranda focuses on the Block 2.0 product, used on both the terrace floor and the steps.
NEW KRONOS RANGES PRESENTED AT CERSAIE 2017
A product offering maximum strength together with high visual appeal.
External floorings, depending on use, are subject to heavy loads and movement. A small format, greater depth flooring such as Block 2.0 gives your floor protection against cracks, fractures and creases caused by heavy loads. Its reduced size, thickness and technical specifications mean Block 2.0 can withstand more than 40% of the loads of a traditional gres flooring.
The product’s other engaging aspect is its visual appeal. The technology used ensures that Block 2.0 faithfully reproduces the imperfections typical of a natural product which endure over time and seem to have a story to tell.
This natural effect is obtained from the six different prints on each format (20 x 20 and 20 x 30).
Block 2.0 also has 70 graphic faces per format for constant variety.
Installation is also highly innovative. It can be laid either traditionally with bonding or without on a flexible subfloor.
We have gone back to the workshop with an elegant collection that is notable for its play of harmonic, uniform and delicate colours, with a very modern hue. Custom graphics and an elegant structure.
The collection is available in 5 colour variants with a strong focus on the darker tones, contrary to current design trends.
The two 180 cm length formats are also new (20×180, 26×180).
A new interpretation of cement tiles, with stone-effect staining melting into the surface, giving it a more lived-in and time-worn effect than in the existing Prima materia collection.
Three highly contemporary colours in the formats most wanted by the market.
Incontri Materici is a modern collection suitable for both residential and commercial applications, where its stone-cement combination exceeds the visual appeal of the more natural classic materials, giving the best ceramic interpretation.
NEW FORMAT FOR EXTERNAL FLOORING
80×80 2 cm thickness
A large, elegant format with designer taste and contemporary elegance, in addition to the more traditional 60×60.
For a greater impact, without interrupting the inside-outside modularity of our design collections.
